DUKE 390 TO BE LAUNCHED ON JUNE 25

The bike enthusiasts has been eagerly waiting for the arrival of the KTM Duke 390, and now it seems like the wait is going to get over soon. KTM India's official facebook page has teased an image indicating the launch date of the highly anticipated sportsbike of the year. The motorcycle is slated to be launched on June 25.

If the company manages to price the Duke 390 competitive, as it earlier had done at the launch of KTM Duke 200, it will surely attract the buyers. The sportsbike is powered by a 373cc single cylinder injected liquid cooled engine, which is capable of developing 44PS and 35Nm of top torque. The engine of the sportsbike is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
 
The power to weight ratio of the sportsbike stands at a class leading 316PS/tonne!, and it will sprint from 0 to 100kmph in under 7 seconds, and can attain a top speed of 170kmph. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 2.5lakh for the Indian buyers. In first look, the Duke 390 looks quite similar to that of Duke 200, although it has a different body graphics as it gets a stickier set of Metzler rubbers.
